P5 enjoyed the opportunity to learn in the snow today, this linked in really well with our Antarctica topic. They learnt about negative numbers by measuring the temperature, some pupils experimented with melting and freezing and used salt to speed up the melting process. Other groups made angles in the snow and used a large outdoor protractor to measure the degrees. They all finished off with some unstructured play and made some snow sculptures. Mrs Amos.
