Welcome back to all our children and parents, I hope you are all settling back into the routine of nursery! As you know we have changed to the flexible model so it has been a bit different over the last three weeks. Thank you for your patience while we all get used to the new system. The children who stay all day have been enjoying going to the canteen for lunch with the rest of school – lots of hugs and high fives as siblings and friends are spotted.
Within the nursery we are all getting to know each other and are practising our talking and listening skills. We have had considerable interest in dinosaurs expressed so will be doing some dinosaur discovery work too. We have been taking advantage of the continuing good weather and have been spending as much time as possible outside building houses cooperatively with friends and taking turns with the bikes and buggies.
Our ELC bear – named Honey – has started visiting children at home, we look forward to hearing about her adventures and will have them up on display within the nursery soon. Honey will come and visit everyone at home and is very excited about this! Our photo gallery is starting to fill up too so please feel free to pop into the room and take a look. Also within the cloakroom are certificates for those special moments at home and at nursery. Fill them in and give them to us and we will celebrate these moments and pop the certificates up on the display wall!
From all the ELC staff!
