It has been a very busy first 4 weeks for Primary 1 as they settle in to school life. They are learning all about being independent and making new friends. The P6 Buddies and the P7 Junior Leaders have been a huge help in getting the children settled and are a fantastic support in the playground and the canteen. Thank you all very much!
Primary 1 love to play and invent new games with the toys and equipment we have at school, outdoors and indoors. We have been on a bear hunt in the school grounds, explored the garden and outdoor classroom, built many models and drawns dozens of pictures. We listened to Gordon, the storyteller who came into school as part of the Book and Arts Festival and loved his stories about the Lady of the Sea and about the Jellyfish and the Monkeys. Everyone loves listening to stories!
Here are a selection of photos which show some of the things we have been doing over the last 4 weeks.
